About Zoe Group Benefits

An independent benefits advisory built around the two things employers never get: real savings and real service.

Zoe Group Benefits is an independent corporate health benefits advisory. We are not a carrier, we are not a third-party administrator, and we do not sell one company’s product. We work for the employer — which means our job is to go find the arrangement that costs you the least and serves your people the best, wherever it happens to live.

Most of the companies we talk to have been with the same broker for years and could not tell you what that broker actually did for them last renewal. They got a spreadsheet, a percentage increase, and a signature line. We started this firm because that is not advice — it is order-taking, and employers are paying a lot of money for it.

Independent

No carrier owns us and no single product pays us to steer you. We quote the market, we model funding arrangements both ways, and we recommend what the numbers support — including staying exactly where you are.

Consultative

We start with your claims data, your renewal history and your workforce, not with a proposal. If we cannot show you the math behind a recommendation, we have not done our job yet.

Transparent

You see how your plan is priced, where every dollar goes, what we are paid and how. Health benefits are likely one of your top three expenses — you should be able to read the bill.

How we work

Three steps, and you see the numbers at every one of them.

There is no proprietary black box here and no algorithm we are asking you to trust. The process is deliberately plain, because the whole argument for changing brokers is that you should be able to check our work.

01

Analyze

We pull your current plan documents, renewal history, enrollment and — where we can get it — claims and pharmacy utilization. Then we tell you what your plan actually costs you per employee per month, and what is driving it.

Most employers have never seen this laid out in one place.

You get your true cost per employee per month, and what is driving it.

02

Design

We model your group as fully insured, level-funded and self-funded side by side, quote the market on medical and on every ancillary line, and bring you the comparison with the assumptions written down next to it.

Our recommendation comes with the math attached, including the case for doing nothing.

You get three funding models priced side by side, assumptions shown.

03

Support

Once you are live we quarterback the whole thing — the administrator, stop-loss placement, open enrollment, compliance filings, and the claim your employee cannot get answered.

You get a named advisor with a direct line, not a service center queue.

You get a named advisor with a direct line, not a queue.

The service is the part you will notice first.

Savings show up at renewal. Service shows up the first week. When an employee cannot get a claim resolved or HR needs an answer before a Monday deadline, you call us and we handle it — not a ticket number, not a callback window, not a rotating account rep who has never seen your plan. That is the piece large firms cannot replicate at your size, and it is the reason most of our clients came to us in the first place.

The details

Licensed, independent, and accountable to you.

We would rather tell you exactly what we are than dress it up. Zoe Group Benefits is a licensed independent insurance agency working with employer groups on medical and ancillary benefits. We are compensated the way brokers are compensated, and we will show you how on the first call.

What we do

  • Analyze your current plan, renewal history and claims experience
  • Model fully insured, level-funded and self-funded side by side
  • Quote the market on medical and every ancillary line
  • Place and manage the administrator, network and stop-loss coverage
  • Run open enrollment and handle compliance filings
  • Advocate for your employees when a claim goes wrong

What we are not

  • Not an insurance carrier — we do not underwrite risk
  • Not a third-party administrator — we select and manage them for you
  • Not captive to one carrier’s product menu
  • Not a call center — you get a named advisor with a direct line
  • Not a software platform, and we are not going to pretend otherwise

Let us show you the math

The fastest way to find out if we are worth your time.

Answer eight questions about your current plan and we will come back with a straight read on whether self-funding makes sense for your company, what a realistic savings range looks like, and what we would do differently at your next renewal. No pitch, no obligation, no cost.

You will hear back from us within one business day — from a person, not an auto-responder. If the answer is that you should stay where you are, we will tell you that too.
